"The sky is the limit. Various methods can be employed to cater for Health, Food, Mental Health, Education etc. No external funding received at all. This is the work of Andreas Papazidis of GRACEaid with B4H and Giveth. We are aiming to initiate the first phase with crypto only.(2% of global GDP) Phase 2 will include fiat (through Open Banking in Europe). (at least 13.6% of global GDP-at global GDP of $86.4Trillion) Phase 3 will include the two mixed (using both crypto and fiat for the end goal) The donor clarity will increase the donor base globally by providing open and trusted data. The platform itself can become the next global donation platform with variable and fixed costs derived from each participant NGO. There will be increased cooperation with other teams already working on similar projects."
"Through DApps that can track and trace donations end to end we are empowered to prove where the donor funds go. We don't currently have a trustless method to provide impact metrics. How many people got Non Food Items, potentially who were they, how much of our donation was used to buy and distribute aid and to who (but also how many people). These are very general numbers right now which are also potentially biased, not tamperproof, manual in nature and time consuming. Through our plug in we want to provide our donors a clear and simplified measure of impact for their donations. This increases trust in all sizes of NGOs in humanitarian aid. The B4H and/or Giveth DApps are our first point of call. We are looking to build a plugin that will provide the feedback to our donors. Example: I donate 1 ETH for a campaign. Campaign raises 100 ETH. We buy 200 jackets for refugees(provided that we can offramp the funds to fiat) We provide the invoice in the DApp. We now don't have any more traceability as to who, how and when the goods were distributed. In our experience most refugees use WhatsApp for communication. This offers a tried and tested solution for the distribution. While we distribute, we ask each beneficiary to scan a QR code and message that they received 1 item (or more if required for the exeptions). We then cumulatively display the results in the DApp to prove the goods were distributed. We can identify individuals but we don't have to. (sensitive cases) We can provide proof but we don't have to. (sensitive cases) The sky is the limit. Various methods can be employed to cater for Health, Food, Mental Health, Education etc."
"We need to use blockchain for a variety of reasons. -Provenance: We want to trace the funds end to end. We want to trace the goods end to end. -Trackable/Traceable: We want to provide a trackable and traceable path for every single donation. -Immutability: We want to utilise the immutability traits of blockchain thus allowing us to have a trusted source of the truth. -Public: We want to have a public ledger of all transactions for the whole world to audit. -Decentralisation: We want to have local NGOs involved in the scheme through partnerships and cooperation. No centralised NGO coordination required."
"Solely Andreas Papazidis in his spare time (and with his humanitarian hat) mostly evenings and weekends. Additionally some support by Evan Pappas on vision (but also infrastructure definitions)"

Monetary donations can be traced but we have an open loop. No feedback/impact measurement from beneficiaries. We aim to close that!
We are fully aligned as an entity with the B4H goals but more specifically we are aiming for: Decentralized ID, Humanitarian Aid, Happiness , Social Accountability and of course our own goals of DignITy, HumanITy and EqualITy.

So far we are hoping to use an existing DApp thus reducing the time to market. We are now seeking for funding to build the plugin and open source the code. Partnerships have been established with Giveth (and B4H informally) but we are looking at more partners like local NGOs on the ground, Message Relay services and perhaps Mobile network operators.
