Use Case: Why use blockchain or other technologies?

We use blockchain to anchor the pointers of data for the purpose of interoperability. All personal identifiable information (PII) is stored on the individual's personal device, while the DIDs (Decentralised Identifiers) are stored on the ledger (along with some other more general properties such as revocation registries and schemas) for the purpose of any institution being able to verify this identity. People without a mobile device can be issued plastic cards.
